Global Philanthropy

AlQuraishi Foundation's partnership with the Development and Relief Foundation of Iraq enables us to transform the lives of Iraqi students by sponsoring their education. Much of the organization's work centers on providing opportunities for orphaned children, helping create paths to success that would otherwise be closed to them. We are honored to fund scholarships that enable these young people to become economically independent contributors to their communities.

AlQuraishi Foundation contributes five- and six-year scholarships for young women to study medicine and pharmaceutical sciences.

We are proud to have funded these three young women who will become self-sufficient and support their own families. They have performed at the top of their class and have  been selected based on their financial needs and backgrounds as orphans.

They will attend the school of pharmacology at the Ahlul-Bait University, and medical school at the University of Al-Ameed.

A new library is being constructed as part of a new high school for orphan children. The school will serve close to 600 students who come from impoverished areas throughout the region.
