Bay Area Volunteerism

Guided by the principle that we should all take time to help those in need, AlQuraishi Foundation partners with Family Supportive Housing in San Jose as well as WeHope in East Palo Alto to provide hot meals to unhoused families. We also create and distribute kits containing essential daily care items like socks, snacks, water, and toothpaste to unhoused individuals throughout our community. Both activities are simple and fulfilling for families to engage in, together.

Early in the COVID-19 pandemic, our volunteers were hard at work sewing and distributing masks to frontline workers. While our local community is now better equipped, we are sending PPE oversees, where it's still badly needed!
